1. Mechanical oscillation (during acceleration / deceleration)
Common causes of such failures are:
① The pulse encoder has failed. At this time, check whether the voltage on the feedback line terminal of the speed detection unit drops at some point. If there is a drop, it indicates that the pulse encoder is replaced;
② The cross coupling of pulse encoder may be damaged, causing the shaft speed to be out of sync with the detected speed, so replace the coupling;
③ The tachogenerator has failed. In the maintenance practice, there are many abrasion and jamming faults of the speed measuring brush. At this time, the brush of the speed measuring machine should be removed, polished with the abrasive paper for several times, and the dirt of the commutator should be cleaned, and the servo motor should be reinstalled.
2. Abnormal mechanical movement (runaway)
Such faults shall be checked not only for position control unit and speed control unit, but also for:
① whether the pulse encoder wiring is wrong;
② whether the pulse encoder coupling is damaged;
③ whether the terminal servo motor of speed measuring generator is connected reversely and whether the excitation signal line is connected wrongly.
3. The spindle can't move in the direction or the direction does not move
For this kind of fault, it is necessary to check the setting adjustment of directional control circuit, the adjustment of directional board and spindle control PCB, and check whether the output waveform of position detector (encoder) is normal to judge whether the encoder is good or not (it is necessary to record the normal output waveform of encoder when the equipment is normal, so as to check it in case of fault).
4. Vibration during axis feeding
Check the connection between motor coil, mechanical feed screw and motor, servo system, pulse encoder, coupling and tachometer.
